Hectic Summer so Far.

YAY!!! It's summer!!! I LOVE summer!!! Rigth now it's a wee stressful though because I'm playing volleyball everyday. Don't get me wrong I love volleyball and I would play it everyday but right now I have the burden of trying to get onto the J.V. team at Woodbridge highschool. I'm also losing weight so I'm just worn out kind of. By the way if any of you readers have advice on losing weight or being healthy do post a comment and enlighten me!!! :] I haven't really had much of a social life except don't get me wrong I've seen people at all the camps and activities I've done so far but I do need to have some fun outside of those events. xD Yesterday Mitchell (my cousin), Kent (my brother), and Brian (Kent's friend) went to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It was AMAZING!!!! My favorite part was when Harry was making pincers with his hands and making those clicking sounds. HAHAHA! I laughed at that for like five minutes and the people next to me were looking at me weird but it was SO funny! Anyway nothing much has happened I guess. I like it that way though! I mean for me volleyball is life so I would be happy by just living everyday playing volleyball, sleeping, eating, breathing, listening to music, reading, and watching movies. Alright well if you don't mid I would like to go back to watching Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade with Mitchell and Kent. Later! <3>

It's Been Exactly One Month!

It's been one month since I've blogged. Wow...That's a long time. Hahha. The only person who reads my blog is my best friend Kiara but you know what that's cool and I don't really care. Many things have happened this month. In my church our ward boundaries changed so now I'm in the Woodbridge Ward not the Third ward. There's pros ans cons because I'm going to miss seeing my friends on Sundays and mutual and be in the same classes from the Third ward but my best friend Kiara is in my ward now because she used to be in the Fourth ward so that's a lot of fun. Though I find change extrememly scary sometimes in the end it's all for the better. I hope I'll be able to make new friends and start fresh and new in this ward. Yesterday with our new ward we had a little beach paradise musical dance number for the Irvine Stake Idol which was hilarious because it was exactly like American Idol with adults portraying the four judges. It wasn't just a singing competition though, There were instrument acts, a solo dance number, a comedy act, and many more. My ward's number didn't win but we had fun except that poor Kiara was sick. I hope you get better Kiara and I missed you at church today!!! Yesterday morning I also got my hair trimmed because the ends were looking very nasty and not it's all smooth and shiny. :] I also got my eyebrows and mustache waxed because it was the, I mean come on you need to tame the hairy beasts on your face! After that I went around the mall and bought two new T-shirts! I was really excited because I got my fist v-neck!!! *GASP!* I know I know I always though v-necks were preppy but the one I bought is VERY cool. It's black and on the front it kind of has a purple-y background color with awesome lightning bolts coming down. Pretty sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! My second T-shirt was Nightmare before Christmas with Jack standing on the curved hill-type thing. It was on clearance too so that was a bonus!!! After I went shopping my step-mom picked me up and then I went over to my friend Erin's house where Erin, Cyra, Kelsey, Talyor, and I watched Mamma Mia and sang along! It was SO much fun and then we made a pizzownie which was SUPER rich so after I ate that I didn't eat anything for the rest of the day so yeah.....Anyway I had a fantastic weekend and I will blog sometime next month so ciao readers I love you all!!! :] :p <3

Lake Tahoe and A sudden change

This whole past week my father,stepmother,two brothers, and I stayed in a condo in Lake Tahoe where we did major vegging, sledding, and...*drum roll please* EATING!!!!! I'm serious I gained ten pounds but any who we had an enjoyable time and I loved the snow. I threw countless snowballs--oh wait make that chucked snowballs at Kent. My father yelled at me every time I did but it was SO worth it. We got back from Tahoe Saturday afternoon and it turned out the night before people got shot on my friend's street which is pretty close to our street as well. My friend was freaking out and basically told me everything. So much for Irvine being the safest city thus which is another great reason to move but my parents aren't intending to move any time soon. Today in church I got the heart-breaking news that new boundary lines are being set which only means different wards. It makes me sad because just when I got adjusted to the third ward it now has to change and I'm not too fond of change. I'm going to miss my friends but hopefully I'll make new ones and plus there's always facebook so that's great. This may be good in the end because Heavenly Father wouldn't do this to make people be sad. He's doing this so that maybe it will help us and maybe so that we can help others as well. almost Valentine's Day..EW

Am I the only person who hates Valentine's Day or something!?!?!? All my friends are always like omigawsh valentine's day, boyz, candy grams, and XO's!!!!!! It's SO annoying especially if you know you're not going to get any of these things. *sigh* I've NEVER had a guy give me a Valentine or wanted be my valentine so let's just say I try to get Valentine's day out of the way as soon as possible. any tips on how to get through this dreaded holiday?

Stress is an EVIL thing

Hey guys!!!! Ok so at the moment I've been extremely stressed with tests,school, volleyball,trying to make everyone happy, chores, voice lessons, trying to get together with friends and the two dreaded extra credit projects which I stupidly put upon myself: HISTORY DAY AND SCIENCE FAIR. It's crazy. This is SUCH a huge bomb and I feel VERY overwhelmed. As I am typing this up I have a bowl of icecream which is helping me calm my nerves but food especially fatty food is NEVER the answer but it's a REALLY bad habit that I've had ever since I can remember. It's sad. I also stress about my weight...ugh but I won't go there. This weekend will probably be the busiest weekend of my life so I'm really hoping my parents won't dump chores on me since I'm baby sitting Kent tomorrow night...but you never know with parents and all. Oh well. Sorry I need to go though cause my show's on!!! Omigawsh I sound like an oldie! XD Old people are pretty cool though. :] Alright well Ciao I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!! <3>

New Post of the New Year

So HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! In a way I'm scared and intimidated by it...things will change even more than they have last year so talk about scary! So basically the past two weeks I haven't had school because well you guessed it: WINTER BREAK!!! I don't want to go back to school...EW! The first week of Winter Break was BORING!!! There was nothing to do except eat,watch T.V, go on the computer, and eat some more. XD Christmas was pretty cool though we (that being Kent and I) got Guitar Hero which is freakin' awesome!!! I love it!!! :] Christams Eve was the best though because we had two single women from our ward join us for our fondue filet mignon dinner which makes me salivate whenever I think about it. Anyway the two ladies were really cool and super nice, we ended up having a great time. The second week of break Sleater,Dad,Michelle,Kent,and I drove to Flaagstaff Arizona where we chilled with Michelle's brother Glenn's family so my cousins. Unfortunately Uncle Glenn was in the hospital so we only got to see him like once at the hospital. Kent and I played Rockband with Jordan and Zack until we were satisfied which was a lot of fun! On New Year's Chad and Jessica came and joined the party as well with their two adorable daughters Lily and Ella. Ella is the most mello baby I have ever met. So cute! That night all of us (Kent,Jordan,Zack,Jessica,Chad, Aunt Linda,my Dad,Michelle,and myself) played scum. Scum is a VERY entertaining card game that I found very addicting. I drank soda which I like never do and I was up until like 3 in the morning and I slept in until noon. It was SO nice. New Year's Day we played more Scum, Rockband, and just hung out. OH! I almost forgot the first day we got there we went night sledding which was two firsts:1-my first time sledding 2-my first time NIGHT sledding!! The adrenaline was like pulsing and pumping in me and the whole experience of not knowing where exactly you were going was exhilirating. I LOVE Flagstaff!! I haven't been able to breathe in along time or well breathe in clear,clean air. There was snow on the ground too and it looked like a little winter wonderland. The restaurants there that Irvine doesn't have (unfortunately) are very good like Oregano's. Everyone kept saying that Sakura had really good food and I wanted to go but we never got the chance. Oh well. The mountains were so beautiful. I hate it how Irvine has no character and it's SO fake. Even Michelle and my Dad agree that Irvine isn't the best place but we can't move because they want me to finish school in Irvine (highschool) and my Dad's job. I can't wait until college!!! *sigh* Overall our Flagstaff trip was a blast and really put the cherry on top for my winter break. :]

Mrs. Estrada is...too nice that she has an evil side. Hmmm doesn't seem to quite make sense....

Lovely Conversation in Fifth Period=

Mrs Estrada: This class is doing terrible when it comes to grades right now. (to class)

Me: *stressed angry expression on face with eyes wild*

Mrs. Estrada: SO I normally don't this especially if you guys are HONOR students BUT you're lucky that there's extra credit available.

Me: *jaw drops*

Mrs. Estrada: *raises eyeborws* WHOA! Lara chill it's just optional.

Me: *purses lips with face reddening* [how do I know this well Karina tells me that my face is bright red]

Mrs. Estrada: Ok well now we're proceeding to the media center so off we go.

(Class walks to media center)

Me: Christin do you wanna be my partner for the activity thingy...?

Christin: Yeah!

(Moments later we stumble on something and have no idea what to do. Mrs Estrada is grading ppers a little a ways so I go over to her table and wait until Sara is done asking her question to Mrs. Estrada)

Me: Hi Mrs Estrada I have a question.

Mrs. Estrada: Well if it isn't Little Miss Facial Expressions.

Me: *eyebrows raise and jaw drops in disbelief*

~Anyway the point is, is that it's finally winter break and that means no more teachers making snide reamarks about me!!!
