Lake Tahoe and A sudden change

This whole past week my father,stepmother,two brothers, and I stayed in a condo in Lake Tahoe where we did major vegging, sledding, and...*drum roll please* EATING!!!!! I'm serious I gained ten pounds but any who we had an enjoyable time and I loved the snow. I threw countless snowballs--oh wait make that chucked snowballs at Kent. My father yelled at me every time I did but it was SO worth it. We got back from Tahoe Saturday afternoon and it turned out the night before people got shot on my friend's street which is pretty close to our street as well. My friend was freaking out and basically told me everything. So much for Irvine being the safest city thus which is another great reason to move but my parents aren't intending to move any time soon. Today in church I got the heart-breaking news that new boundary lines are being set which only means different wards. It makes me sad because just when I got adjusted to the third ward it now has to change and I'm not too fond of change. I'm going to miss my friends but hopefully I'll make new ones and plus there's always facebook so that's great. This may be good in the end because Heavenly Father wouldn't do this to make people be sad. He's doing this so that maybe it will help us and maybe so that we can help others as well.
